How do I apply for admission ?
You can complete your enrollment application and mail or fax it to GIA Thailand campus. Address and fax number are showing below:

Why do I declare a degree or diploma program of study ?
Declaring a program of study is similar to declaring a major. It helps GIA better understand your educational goals and serve you in a way that best suits your needs.

What is a program or course code ?
Program and course codes are used in the registration sections of the application to identify programs or courses that you wish to apply for.

What are GIA Lab Classes ?
Lab Classes help you develop the practical hands-on skills of a true gem and jewelry professional. You work with actual diamonds and gemstones, and receive attention from a fully qualified GIA instructor. Lab gives you the practical experience you need to grade diamonds and identify gemstones.

Who can enroll in Lab Classes ?
Anyone can take a class! Take Lab Classes to sharpen and update your professional skills. There are no prerequisites for most Lab Classes and if you are a Distance Education student working toward GIA's Graduate Gemologist diploma, you will need Lab Classes to meet the practical requirements of your program. Whether you are enrolled in a diploma program or interested in taking just a single class as a personal learning opportunity, there is a GIA Lab Class offering for you.

Are payment plans available ?
Payment plans are available for On-campus education Gemology courses only.

Does GIA Thailand campus offer housing ?
GIA Thailand campus does not offer housing, but there is a list of housing to help you explore housing options in the area.

Do I need to bring any materials or equipment with me ?
GIA provides microscopes and all other equipment necessary to complete your Gemology class or program. You should bring a loupe if you have one you prefer using, although this is not required. GIA recommends that you bring a highlighter to help you with your studies.
