With GIA on iTunes U, any student or graduate of any GIA course - whether it was gemology, business, or jewelry manufacturing - can download video and audio podcasts to a PC or Mac, or transfer it right to an iPod for listening and viewing on the go.

At GIA, we're creating a series of micro-documentaries that provide an in-depth and breathtaking look into some of today's most important topics. Now, you can stay up-to-date with current industry trends, gemological advances, manufacturing techniques, and new discoveries - anywhere and anytime it's convenient for you.

What's more, we've recently established a recognition initiative for those who have already earned GIA's Gemologist or Graduate Gemologist diploma and would like to be recognized for their commitment to continued professional achievement. Through this new initiative, GIA Gemologists and Graduate Gemologists complete five podcast assignments and corresponding questionnaires to earn a credential which can be framed and displayed. Each year you successfully participate, you'll receive a seal for the year that can be applied directly to the original credential.
