This lab will help you discover the ease and time efficiency of 3-D CAD software program designed specifically for the jewelry industry. Through automated builder menus, you can pre-calculate dimensions and see designs generated automatically right before your eyes.
What you learn :
You will learn how programmed specifications can create custom designs in less time than you ever thought possible. Starting with a bezel, you can add a ring and channel set stones, and render it in eye-catching realism to create a one-of-a-kind model.
- How to formulate and edit two-dimensional designs
- How to attach dimensions to 3-D designs as a blueprint in four views
- How to change a design without starting over and how to save a design for further use.
- How to render designs in color so clients and manufacturers will have a precise idea of a completed design's look.

Prerequisites : None. However, to receive maximum benefit from this class, students should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based software, as well as familiarity with basic jewelry design and manufacturing.
